MASSAGE TREATMENTS IN CENTRAL LONDON
I offer a range of massage treatments in Soho and Liverpool Street, with each session adapted to what you need on the day.
You might be training regularly and dealing with tight or tired muscles, spending most of the week sitting at a desk, or simply looking for some time to relax and switch off. We'll have a quick chat before we start, decide what you want to focus on and take it from there. If you're not sure which massage to choose, don't worry. There's often some crossover between treatments, and we can always adjust things once you're here.
Swedish Massage
Sometimes you don't want anything particularly complicated. You just want a good massage, some time to yourself and a chance to properly switch off.
Swedish Massage uses more flowing techniques and is generally more relaxing than Sports or Deep Tissue Massage. That doesn't mean the pressure has to be very light — it can still be adjusted depending on what feels best for you.
It can be a good choice after a busy week, when you're feeling generally tense or when relaxation is simply the main reason you're booking.
IDEAL FOR:
Relaxation | Switching off from a busy week | General muscular tension | Full-body massage | Anyone who prefers a more flowing treatment
Deep Tissue Massage
If you prefer a firmer massage or have particular areas of muscular tension that you'd like me to spend more time on, Deep Tissue Massage is a good option.
Deep doesn't have to mean painful. There's a big difference between useful pressure and simply making a massage uncomfortable. I'll adjust the pressure throughout the session and work at a level that suits you.
It's particularly popular with clients who spend long hours sitting at a desk, train regularly or simply prefer a more focused style of massage.
IDEAL FOR:
Muscular tension | Neck and shoulder tightness | Back tension | Desk-related stiffness | Anyone who prefers firmer pressure
Sports Massage
You don't need to be an athlete to have a Sports Massage.
It's a more focused style of massage that works particularly well for people who train regularly, run, cycle or play sport, as well as anyone dealing with areas that feel particularly tight, tired or sore.
Rather than following the same routine every time, I'll base the treatment around what you do, where you're feeling it and what you'd like to get from the session. Pressure and techniques can then be adjusted as we go.
IDEAL FOR:
Regular gym training | Running, cycling and sport | Tight or tired muscles | Post-training soreness | Focused work on specific areas
Massage & Stretching Therapy
Quite a few clients come in and simply say, “I just feel tight.”
Sometimes that's from training, sometimes it's from sitting at a desk all week, and often it's a combination of both.
Massage & Stretching combines hands-on massage with selected assisted stretches where appropriate. I won't stretch everything simply for the sake of it. I'll use stretching where it makes sense for the areas we're working on and what you want from the session.
IDEAL FOR:
Feeling generally tight or stiff | Regular training | Long hours sitting at a desk | Assisted stretching | Combining massage with movement
Cupping Therapy
You've probably seen the circular marks cupping can leave, particularly on athletes, and wondered what exactly happened.
Cupping works differently from traditional massage because it uses suction rather than downward pressure. I use it selectively as an additional technique alongside hands-on massage rather than something that automatically needs to be included in every treatment.
If I think it could be useful, I'll explain it first and you can decide whether you'd like it included. Cupping can leave temporary circular marks on the skin, so we'll always discuss that beforehand.
IDEAL FOR:
Adding a different technique to your massage | Areas of muscular tightness | Clients who respond well to suction-based techniques | Combining cupping with hands-on massage
NOT SURE WHICH MASSAGE TO CHOOSE?
Don't worry too much about choosing the perfect treatment. There's naturally some crossover between Sports Massage, Deep Tissue Massage and Swedish Massage, and the treatment can be adjusted depending on what you're looking for and how you're feeling on the day. Choose whichever option sounds closest to what you want. We'll have a quick chat before we start and take it from there.
